For the first time in its history, Argentina has officially registered a company with cryptocurrency capital. The Argentine Ministry of Justice accepted the application of a company that owns cryptocurrencies, approving the company with $302 worth of Bitcoin (BTC) and $195 worth of USD Coin (USDC) capital. This registration was considered an important step towards the legal status of cryptocurrencies in the country.
The new president of the country, Javier Milei's positive attitude towards cryptocurrencies and the troubles in the economy are seen as the driving forces behind this development. The ministry emphasized that this step is part of Argentina's modernization efforts and that they are the first country in Latin America to carry out such a registration process.
