MASAK Updated Cryptocurrency Suspicious Transaction Reporting Guide!

The Financial Crimes Investigation Board (MASAK) has updated its suspicious transaction reporting guide and form for cryptocurrency service providers. According to TRT News, this update was carried out within the scope of the Law on Prevention of Laundering Proceeds of Crime and the National Risk Assessment Report. The new form includes new categories of suspicious transactions such as terrorist organization financing and financing the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction with a simplified structure.

Furthermore, MASAK updated the “Masak Online 1.0” system and re-launched it under the name “Masak Online 2.0”. This update was developed in accordance with the transaction systematics of cryptoasset service providers and expanded to cover all financial technologies.
