For the first time in history, a US presidential candidate has started accepting Bitcoin (BTC) for campaign donations. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced that he will accept donations in Bitcoin for his presidential campaign. Stating that Bitcoin represents "democracy" and "freedom", F. Kennedy Jr. said, "Today we are showing the world the power, resilience and flexibility of Bitcoin. Almost everyone here is aware of the connection between Bitcoin and democracy and freedom."
