Bitcoin May Gain Value After Low Volatility

Bitcoin (BTC) may break out of the price range it has been in for the past few days and start appreciating. Rapha Zagury, chief investment officer at Swan Bitcoin, noted that Bitcoin's volatility has entered a critical zone. Zagury said that Bitcoin's volatility over a 15-day period has fallen to 23%, which is the lowest level in Bitcoin's history at 6%.

Last Friday, the Bitcoin price fell below $70,000 and started the week in the range of $69,000-70,000. US non-farm payrolls data, a key indicator for the Fed's rate cut decision, rose by 272,000 in May, above expectations.

Zagury analyzed periods when Bitcoin's volatility was low, noting that Bitcoin usually gains value after these periods. According to the data, the price of Bitcoin increases by an average of 20.95% in the 30 days after such periods of low volatility, 56.82% in 90 days and 820.82% in 365 days.
