Bitcoin Holds Steady Above Key Level Ahead of U.S. Inflation Data

The crypto market is holding its breath ahead of today’s U.S. inflation report, with Bitcoin (BTC) trading sideways around $111,000 just hours before the Consumer Price Index (CPI) release.

Investors are awaiting the September CPI report, scheduled for release at 3:30 p.m. (GMT+3). The previous inflation reading came in at 2.9%, and markets expect the same rate this month. However, a figure that deviates from expectations could trigger strong volatility across Bitcoin and the broader crypto market.

Bitcoin has risen 1.7% in the past 24 hours to $111,032. Ethereum is up 2.1% to $3,946, BNB up 2.8% to $1,125, Solana up 2.1% to $191, Dogecoin up 1.4% to $0.1965, and TRON up 3.3% to $0.3112, while XRP slipped 0.3% to $2.44.

The total cryptocurrency market capitalization stands at $3.82 trillion, with a 24-hour trading volume of $155 billion. Today’s CPI report will likely play a decisive role in shaping Bitcoin’s short-term direction — a higher-than-expected figure could trigger selling pressure, while a softer print may fuel a renewed rally.
