BlackRock, the world's largest asset manager, announced the fee for its spot Ethereum ETF. In an updated filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the company announced a 0.25% fee for its spot Ethereum ETF. The company had previously set a fee of 0.12% for its Bitcoin ETF.
BlackRock, which stated that it will sacrifice transaction fees in the first phase, will reduce the fee to 0.12% for one year after listing and for the first $2.5 billion of assets. In addition, the sponsor fee will accrue at an annual rate equal to 0.25% of the foundation's net asset value and will be paid at least quarterly. BlackRock added that it may waive all or part of this fee at its sole discretion.
