Cardano (ADA) founder Charles Hoskinson has raised eyebrows by launching an important vote for Bitcoin Cash (BCH). In a social media post on May 5, Hoskinson proposed integrating Bitcoin Cash with the Cardano blockchain and asked the community to vote on it. With this integration, he stated that he aims to make Bitcoin Cash the fastest and most useful Proof of Work blockchain ever created, powered by Leios, NiPoPoWs and Ergo technology.
The voting will last for a week and so far 14,000 people have participated in the voting, with a majority of 68% voting “yes”. Although this proposal has not had a significant impact on the prices of ADA and BCH, ADA has gained 1.8% and BCH 2.8% in the last 24 hours. Currently, these cryptocurrencies are trading at $0.46 and $472, respectively.
