Why Did Convergence (CVG) Price Drop? - 02.08.2024

Convergence (CVG) coin is a decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol built on the Curve platform and aims to provide users with high returns. The protocol offers transparency and reliability with transactions recorded on the blockchain. With its autonomous structure, CVG works without the need for a central authority, offers easy access to its users and is compatible with many cryptocurrency wallets.

CVG, which has fallen 99.65% in the last 24 hours and at the time of writing, is among the day's decliners. Ethereum-based altcoin project Convergence Finance (CVG) suffered a hack attack on August 1. The attackers found a vulnerability in the project and minted 58 million new CVG tokens, which they quickly exchanged for Ethereum and stablecoins. This attack may have caused a drop in the CVG price.
