The Walt Disney Company has posted a new job opening for an "experienced corporate lawyer" to work on "emerging technologies" such as NFT, Metaverse.
The Walt Disney Company detailed the responsibilities for the job posting as follows:
"Provide full product life cycle legal advice and support for global NFT products, working in close collaboration with other Disney attorneys and business stakeholders, including Disney Media and Entertainment Distribution and Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products. Ensure NFT product compliance with applicable U.S. and international laws and regulations."
In addition to this, the hired lawyer is expected to do “due diligence for NFT, blockchain, third-party marketplace and cloud provider projects.” Day-to-day legal advice, leading cross-functional Disney meetings, and other responsibilities were mentioned in the listing.
