Ethereum Investment Funds Hit Record High, Bitcoin Sees Surprising Outflows!

Last week, digital asset investment funds recorded inflows totaling $1.9 billion, with Ethereum (ETH) clearly leading the charge.

Investor interest in digital asset investment products surged significantly last week. Weekly inflows reached $1.9 billion, pushing the monthly total to a record-breaking $11.2 billion. Regionally, the U.S. led with inflows of $2 billion, followed by Germany with $70 million. However, markets like Hong Kong, Canada, and Brazil ended the week with net outflows.

Ethereum stole the spotlight, drawing $1.59 billion into ETH-focused investment funds. This figure marked Ethereum’s second-largest weekly inflow ever recorded. Year-to-date inflows into Ethereum funds now stand at $7.79 billion, already surpassing the entire total of 2024.

Bitcoin (BTC) experienced an opposite trend, with funds seeing $175 million in outflows last week. This sparked speculation around a potential altcoin season, although experts attribute these outflows to investor anticipation of an upcoming Bitcoin ETF in the U.S. Among other altcoins, Solana (SOL) and XRP attracted notable inflows of $311 million and $189 million respectively. In contrast, Litecoin (LTC) and Bitcoin Cash (BCH) experienced minor outflows, demonstrating that the market rally remains selective rather than broad-based.
