European Statistical Office (Eurostat) announced September inflation data. In the 27-country Eurozone, annual inflation hit a record high of 9.9% in September, while monthly inflation was 1.2%.
The countries with the highest annual inflation in the region were Estonia with 24.1%, Lithuania with 22.5% and Latvia with 22%.
The European Central Bank is expected to raise interest rates by 75 basis points at the next meeting.
