The Evening Standard, Britain's fourth largest newspaper, has announced that it will publish a series of NFTs to commemorate the coronation of King Charles. The NFT collection includes an animated reproduction of "The Oath" by Trevor Jones.
The UK government has previously announced that it wants the country to become a "cryptocurrency hub" by April 2022. This initially included plans for the Royal Mint to issue its own NFT, but this was canceled in March 2023.
