Institutional Capital Returns to Crypto: Weekly Inflows Surpass $1.1 Billion

Institutional interest in the crypto market accelerated again, supported by softer-than-expected inflation data in the United States, which boosted overall risk appetite. According to CoinShares data, capital flowing into crypto funds marked the strongest weekly increase in months, signaling renewed investor confidence in digital assets.

Trading activity also reflected this momentum, with weekly volumes rising 13% to $21 billion. Total assets under management returned to levels last seen in early February, pointing to a potential new growth phase in the market. Easing geopolitical tensions further supported this recovery.

Most of the inflows were concentrated in Bitcoin and Ethereum products. Bitcoin funds led with $872 million, while Ethereum followed with $196.5 million in inflows. Regionally, the vast majority of capital came from the United States. Among altcoins, XRP stood out with positive inflows, while Solana funds saw minor outflows.
