Keanu Reeves, who rose to worldwide fame with many movies such as The Matrix and John Wick, called cryptocurrencies "great tools for the exchange and distribution of resources."
As Cryptoglobe reports, Reeves is particularly interested in the impact of AI and NFTs on digital art technologies, noting that people grew up with tools like NFT digital art and music made using AI. Despite the cool factor of these tools, Reeves is concerned about the corporatocracy behind them that wants to control them.
Reeves also said that companies like Meta are creating more wealth and opportunity, but it is still a system of control and manipulation.
Recently involved in the NFT space, Reeves is an advisor to The Futureverse Foundation, a digital arts foundation supported by NFT projects Non-Fungible Labs and Fluf World.
