Corporate DOGE Move: First Step Toward a $500 Million Treasury

Nasdaq-listed CleanCore Solutions has doubled its Dogecoin (DOGE) treasury in just three days, surpassing 500 million tokens. The move highlights both the company’s aggressive accumulation strategy and the growing appeal of Dogecoin among institutional players.

After an initial purchase of 285.4 million DOGE earlier this week, CleanCore quickly added to its holdings, aiming to amass 1 billion DOGE within 30 days. Marco Margiotta, the firm’s Chief Investment Officer, emphasized that the plan is not only to establish Dogecoin as a reserve asset but also to leverage it for payments, tokenization, staking-like products, and global remittances.

The timing coincides with Wall Street’s preparations for the first spot Dogecoin ETF. Bloomberg analysts expect REX-Osprey’s DOGE ETF (DOJE) to launch next week, primarily backed by spot DOGE while retaining the option to use derivatives when needed.

On the market side, Dogecoin’s price has risen nearly 4% in the past 24 hours to $0.25. CleanCore’s stock jumped 14% on the news before giving back part of the gains by the close, leaving its market cap at around $55 million. Analysts suggest CleanCore’s DOGE bet signals a potential shift in corporate treasury strategies, which until now have largely focused on Bitcoin and Ethereum.
