Bitcoin maximalist Said Nassar, an international business engineer from Lebanon, organized a Bitcoin-themed wedding where small amounts of BTC were given as gifts. Cointelegraph reported that each wedding guest received 4,000 satoshi as a gift.
The wedding also featured Bitcoin-mounted volcanoes, thought to be a reference to cryptocurrency-friendly El Salvador's Bitcoin bonds, popularly known as "volcano bonds."
Nassar said in a statement that he distributed the satoshis through Bitcoin's Lightning Network.
