MakerDAO, the world's largest DeFi lending protocol, announced that it will invest USD 500 million in US Treasury bonds and investment-grade corporate bonds.
MakerDAO Will Invest USD 400 million in US government bonds and USD 100 million in corporate bonds.
Nadia Alvarez, Director of Growth at MakerDAO, said: "The 80-20 split between Treasuries and corporate bonds remained the preferred approach during the voting process. "This highlights the opportunity for the movement and it's exciting to see such committed support from the community.
