South American e-commerce company MercadoLibre has announced the launch of its own cryptocurrency called 'MercadoCoin' for Brazilian customers.
At the press conference introducing the cryptocurrency, the company stated that customers will be eligible to earn MercadoCoin, which will be initially valued at USD 0.10, as a cashback when using its platform for shopping.
