Corporate Bitcoin giant MicroStrategy continues to expand its crypto holdings.
CEO Michael Saylor announced that the company has purchased an additional 4,020 BTC at an average price of $106,237, bringing its total Bitcoin holdings to 580,250 BTC. To date, the company has spent approximately $40.61 billion on its Bitcoin investments, with an average purchase price of $69,979 per BTC.
While the company reported a 16.8% yield on its Bitcoin holdings since the beginning of 2025, MicroStrategy's stock has failed to keep pace with Bitcoin’s recent bullish momentum. Analysts believe that if the company continues accumulating BTC, a stronger long-term correlation between MicroStrategy’s stock price and Bitcoin could emerge. However, in the short term, cautious investor sentiment appears to be weighing on MSTR’s performance.
