Bitwise CEO Hunter Horsley confirmed the company’s ETF filing for Aptos, expressing excitement over the network’s growing momentum.
Crypto asset manager Bitwise has officially submitted an S-1 filing to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for an Aptos-based exchange-traded fund (ETF). In a post on X, CEO Hunter Horsley stated, “Can’t say more during the quiet period, but fired up about the momentum in the Aptos ecosystem.”
According to SEC filings, the Bitwise Aptos ETF aims to provide investors with direct exposure to Aptos’s price performance. The fund will track the CF Aptos-Dollar Settlement Price index, calculated by CF Benchmarks, and will be managed by Bitwise Investment Advisers. Its annual management fee will be charged as a percentage of the fund’s total assets.
Analysts suggest this move marks another step in the expanding crypto ETF landscape. Following similar filings for other digital assets, approval of an Aptos ETF could attract institutional interest and potentially have a positive impact on the asset’s price.
