MicroStrategy Chairman Michael Saylor stated that Republicans have a more progressive stance than Democrats in terms of their attitude towards cryptocurrencies and Bitcoin. Saylor underlined Trump's positive approach to crypto and said that the upcoming presidential elections could have a significant impact on the industry. He also declined to comment on SEC Chairman Gary Gensler's role in a possible Harris administration.
Saylor reiterated his belief in Bitcoin's long-term potential, noting that BTC represents only 0.1% of global capitalization, but predicted that it could grow to 7% in the next 20 years. MicroStrategy recently redefined itself as a Bitcoin strategy company and announced that it currently holds $8.3 billion worth of Bitcoin.
