SEC Delays Altcoin ETFs Again, Market Uncertainty Deepens

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has once again postponed its decisions on spot ETFs for popular altcoins like Dogecoin, Hedera, and Avalanche.

Applications from major firms such as Bitwise, Grayscale, and VanEck remain in limbo, with the SEC stating that no conclusions have been reached and additional public comments are being solicited.

This marks one of the first delay decisions under new SEC Chair Paul Atkins, who had previously pledged a more crypto-friendly stance. Meanwhile, optimism surrounding Solana ETFs is growing, as Bloomberg analysts suggest a potential approval within the next two to four months, shifting investor attention toward SOL.
