Shiba Inu, which was launched as a competitor to Dogecoin and built on the Ethereum Blockchain Network like many other coins, was named after the Japanese dog breed.
Shib coin, one of the meme cryptocurrencies, continues to be actively promoted on social media by Shiba Inu supporters who call themselves Shiba Army.
