A law allowing political campaigns to receive donations in cryptocurrency has been passed in the US state of California.
The new law, which will take effect in 60 days, was passed after approval by the state's Fair Political Practices Commission, the LA Times reported.
As per to new law, candidates will be able to receive crypto donations if they can immediately convert digital assets into fiat.
Washington D.C. is among the important states that allow crypto donations in political campaigns.
