Yakovenko emphasized that the crypto industry may need to rethink its approach to security. He noted that both traditional and modern encryption methods could become vulnerable as AI technologies continue to evolve at a rapid pace.
According to Yakovenko, even post-quantum cryptographic systems, which are designed to withstand quantum computing attacks, are not fully secure yet. He highlighted that their mathematical structures have not been completely analyzed, and potential vulnerabilities during implementation could create new risks for digital assets.
To address these threats, Yakovenko suggested the use of multi-signature wallets and infrastructure such as Program Derived Addresses (PDA). These approaches can reduce reliance on single-key systems and enhance transaction security, offering additional protection against AI-driven attacks.
