A major development in the crypto market saw Solana, XRP and HBAR-focused ETFs listed on the official website of DTCC, one of the pillars of U.S. financial infrastructure.
While the listing does not mean these funds have started trading, it represents a standard step in the technical and operational preparation process for new ETFs. Investors view this as a positive signal of progress in the approval journey of these funds.
Experts emphasize that the DTCC listing is not equivalent to final approval. For the ETFs to begin trading, they still require the official green light from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). In particular, altcoin-focused ETFs such as Solana, XRP, and Hedera remain under close regulatory scrutiny.
Following the momentum gained by Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs, investor interest in altcoin-based ETFs is rising rapidly. Fidelity’s move with Solana and Canary’s focus on XRP and HBAR indicate a diversifying institutional investor base. If these funds secure SEC approval, they could accelerate the inflow of institutional capital into the altcoin market.
