Starbucks NFTs are now available to beta testers. The Polgyon-based project allows Starbucks’ loyalty program (Starbucks Rewards) participants and Starbucks employees to earn or purchase digital collections in NFT format.
Starbucks will also open a marketplace powered by Nifty Gateway in 2023. According to a news piece by TechCrunch, the first NFTs will be a reference to the history of Starbucks, inspired by Starbucks’ classic designs and its first coffee shop in Pike Place Market in Seattle. Each NFT will have a point value for rarity and will be available in the NFT marketplace powered by Nifty Gateway, which will launch next year.
