Tether, the issuer of USDT, the highest-market stablecoin, announced that USDT will be available at over 24,000 ATMs in Brazil after November 3rd.
Tether CTO Paolo Ardoino said in a statement:
"Inflation and the challenges and limitations of a non-inclusive financial system have kept many Brazilian citizens from participating in the country's growing economy. Adding Tether to ATMs in Brazil provides an opportunity to bring more people into the financial system. This will bring major changes not only to the payments sector, but to the entire Brazilian financial ecosystem."
