US-based tech giant Apple has listed more than 30 new jobs related to augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) on its career page. The job posting in question included the following statement:
"In this position, you will work closely with other developers and build tools and frameworks to enable connected experiences in a 3D mixed reality world."
Apple CEO Tim Cook gave warm messages about the Metaverse during the announcement of the second quarter earnings report for 2022. Cook said, "We see a lot of potential in this area and we are investing accordingly."
