Almost 8 out of 10 Russians consider Bitcoin (BTC) to be the "most trusted" crypto asset in circulation, according to the results of a survey conducted by a Russian cryptoasset platform and researcher Cupli Surveys, as reported by Kommersant and VC.
As part of the survey, the parties interviewed 1,500 people over the age of 18 "from all regions of Russia". While 29% of respondents said they had "used cryptocurrency at least once", the majority of this group (51%) said the main reason for buying cryptocurrency was to protect their savings. Another 26% of respondents said they used cryptocurrencies to "pay for goods and services"
