The highly anticipated US Consumer Price Index (CPI) data for March was announced. US March consumer inflation fell by 5% yoy. The expectation was 5.2%. Monthly CPI was 0.1%. Core CPI was realized as 5.6% on an annual basis. Core consumer price index was 0.4% on a monthly basis.
