Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona have jointly registered a trademark covering crypto and Metaverse products. The trademark applications were presented to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
USPTO licensed attorney Mike Kondoudis confirmed in a tweet that the trademark covers virtual reality and cryptographic software, downloadable software for use as e-wallets, software for managing cryptocurrency transactions using Blockchain technology, among other offerings in the crypto and virtual gaming space.
