Uzbekistan authorities recently adopted a draft law requiring cryptocurrency companies to pay into a separate fund. It was stated that the law prepared by the National Agency for Perspective Projects (NAPP) under the President of Uzbekistan entered into force. The law stipulates that approved crypto companies pay a fee every month.
The relevant legislation includes the following statement:
"Failure to pay the fee within one month constitutes grounds for license suspension. If the company fails to pay the fee for two months within a year, the license may be revoked."
