It was learned that US-based financial services company Fidelity will start providing Ether buying, selling and transfer services to institutional firms through its digital asset arm Fidelity Digital Assets as of October 28.
In an e-mail sent by Fidelity to institutional firms, it was stated that "Investors will now be able to buy, sell and transfer Ethere through Fidelity with robust security measures, model services that care about customer satisfaction and operational experience."
The article states that investors will be able to buy, sell and transfer ETH using the same model provided for Bitcoin investments.
Fidelity launched its cryptocurrency-focused institutional custody and trading platform Fidelity Digital Assets in 2018. The firm currently offers Metaverse and two exchange-traded cryptocurrency funds for digital payments.
