The recent downturn in Ethereum prices has brought corporate treasury strategies back into focus, with BitMine Immersion Technologies drawing attention due to its aggressive positioning. According to shared data, the company held a total of 4.285 million ETH as of February 1, 2026.
Over the past week alone, the firm added 41,788 ETH to its balance sheet, continuing to expand its exposure. However, these purchases coincided with a sharp market pullback, increasing pressure on the company’s valuation.
As Ethereum prices declined, the total value of the company’s holdings fell from nearly $14 billion in October to approximately $9.6 billion. This decline translated into unrealized losses exceeding $6 billion on paper.
Around 2.9 million ETH are currently allocated to staking, with potential annual staking income estimated at roughly $374 million. Still, under current market conditions, this yield appears insufficient to offset the impact of the price decline in the short term.
