The cryptocurrency project World Liberty Financial (WLFI), supported by the Trump family, spent $3 million to purchase 3.54 million MNT tokens following the latest technological upgrade of the Mantle Network.
With this purchase, WLFI’s total cryptocurrency investment, including tokens like Ethereum (ETH), Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC), TRON (TRX), Chainlink (LINK), and AAVE, has surpassed $340 million.
The Mantle Network has implemented EigenDA integration to align with Ethereum and improve scalability. This integration boosts the network’s transaction speed to 15 MB per second, enhancing data transmission capacity. However, WLFI's investment has resulted in an estimated paper loss of around $109 million. The MNT token is currently trading at approximately 83 cents, with a daily increase of 6%.
