American Bitcoin, the bitcoin mining and accumulation firm founded by Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, has increased its total reserves to 3,865 BTC after adding 1,414 BTC this month, bringing the total value to approximately $450 million.
Listed on Nasdaq, the company announced that this milestone places it among the top 25 publicly traded Bitcoin holders worldwide. Its Bitcoin reserves come from both mining operations and market purchases, with some pledged as collateral in an equipment acquisition deal with Bitmain.
To improve investor transparency, American Bitcoin introduced a new metric called “Satoshis per Share,” showing how much Bitcoin backs each outstanding share. Co-founder Eric Trump wrote on X that the team is “just getting warmed up.”
CEO Asher Genoot said the company’s hybrid approach of mining and accumulation allows it to maintain a lower average Bitcoin cost compared to competitors. Shares of American Bitcoin, which began trading on Nasdaq in September, rose 12% to $6.28 on Monday but remain below their early-September opening level of around $8.
