A UAE-registered Web3 investment fund has invested $100 million into the governance tokens of a US-based blockchain platform, aiming to bridge traditional finance with decentralized finance (DeFi).
The investment particularly focuses on accelerating the tokenization of real-world assets (RWAs), facilitating faster integration between traditional capital markets and blockchain-based financial systems. This partnership intends to set new global standards within financial systems by leveraging blockchain technology.
Additionally, the UAE-based fund plans to support the region’s digital transformation through its Aqua Fund, backing AI and Web3 projects. These initiatives aim to solidify the Middle East’s leading role in the digital economy.
