Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss, prominent names in the cryptocurrency industry, announced that they donated 1 million dollars each to Donald Trump's presidential campaign. It was announced that the donation amount was recorded as 15.47 BTC. "I just donated $1 million in Bitcoin to Donald Trump and I will vote for him in November," Tyler Winklevoss said.
The Winklevoss brothers filed a lawsuit against the current government's war on cryptocurrencies. In the lawsuit, it was stated that the Biden Administration caused serious damage to the crypto sector and targeted good actors. It was emphasized that President Trump is a pro-Bitcoin, pro-crypto and pro-business choice.
Last year, the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filed a lawsuit alleging that the cryptocurrency exchange was selling unregistered securities. However, the Winklevoss brothers stated that this case was frivolous and not based on evidence and should be dropped.
