XRP and Dogecoin ETFs Launch in the U.S. With Record-Breaking Volume

XRP and Dogecoin ETFs debuted in the U.S. with over $55 million in trading volume on their first day, marking one of the strongest ETF launches of the year.

Two new crypto-focused ETFs were added to U.S. markets on Thursday. The XRP ETF (XRPR) and Dogecoin ETF (DOJE) quickly became some of the year’s top performers. According to Bloomberg, XRPR led all 710 ETFs launched in 2025 with $37.7 million in first-day volume, while DOJE secured a spot in the top five with nearly $17 million.

Bloomberg Senior ETF Analyst Eric Balchunas said the performance signals strong momentum for upcoming crypto ETFs. He also noted that the SEC’s recent approval of accelerated listing standards will allow faster launches, predicting that more than 100 crypto ETFs could debut next year.

Both funds stunned analysts with their early activity. The XRP ETF reached $24 million within just 90 minutes, five times more than XRP futures ETFs, while the Dogecoin ETF hit $6 million in its first hour. Despite the excitement, prices held steady: XRP closed unchanged at $3.08, and Dogecoin slipped 0.5% to $0.28.
