XRP Supply in Profit Plunges as On-Chain Data Signals a Fragile Market

On-chain data shows that the share of XRP supply in profit has dropped sharply, highlighting a growing fragility in market structure.

While XRP holds above the two dollar level, the indicators tell a different story. glassnode reported that the supply in profit has slipped to 58.5 percent, marking its lowest level since November 2024. Despite the price being nearly four times higher than that period, 41.5 percent of the supply or about 26.5 billion XRP remains at a loss.

This suggests that late buyers dominate the market and that current conditions have become more delicate. The unusual rise in profit-taking volume since XRP fell from 3.09 to 2.30 dollars in late September reinforces this view.

According to data shared by CryptoVizArt, profit-taking accelerated even as the price weakened. The seven day average surged from about 65 million dollars per day to 220 million dollars defying the typical pattern where profit realization occurs during rallies. Analysts note that investors selling into weakness rather than strength may add further pressure on the price.
