Bitwise has updated its flagship Bitwise 10 Crypto Index ETF (BITW), adding Hyperliquid (HYPE) and Stellar (XLM) while removing Polkadot (DOT) and Avalanche (AVAX) from the portfolio.
Bitwise announced a quarterly rebalance of its Bitwise 10 Crypto Index ETF (BITW), making several strategic changes based on market capitalization and asset weighting. As part of the update, Hyperliquid (HYPE) and Stellar (XLM) were added to the index, while Polkadot (DOT) and Avalanche (AVAX) were removed to better reflect current market conditions.
Hyperliquid (HYPE) emerged as the most notable addition following its strong performance in the first half of 2026. The token has gained around 165% since the beginning of the year, generating 1.34 trillion dollars in trading volume and 320 million dollars in revenue. Following its inclusion, HYPE now represents approximately 0.95% of the fund's holdings.
Under the updated allocation, Bitcoin remains the fund's largest holding with a 77.54% weight, followed by Ethereum at 13.04%. XRP accounts for 4.21% and Solana (SOL) for 2.78%, while Cardano (ADA), Stellar (XLM), Chainlink (LINK), Litecoin (LTC), and Sui (SUI) complete the portfolio. Bitwise's latest rebalance is being closely watched by institutional investors as a reflection of evolving market leadership
