South Korean technology giant LG Electronics has partnered with Ethereum layer-2 network Arbitrum (ARB) to digitalize its advertising processes. With this new network, the company aims to make data flow between advertisers and publishers faster, more transparent and more cost-efficient.
LG’s platform will allow advertising inventories to be tracked through a shared database. This will help companies better analyze how consumers interact with ads while reducing the need for manual involvement in ad sales processes.
The company reportedly completed testing with a Japan-based advertising agency and plans to launch the platform commercially by the end of the year. Following the news, Arbitrum (ARB) saw a price increase, while LG’s move highlighted the growing use of blockchain technology in corporate operations.
