Michael Saylor’s Strategy (MSTR) announced that it acquired 1,587 Bitcoin (BTC) last week for approximately 100 million dollars. According to the company’s Monday filing, the latest purchase was made at an average price of 63,024 dollars per Bitcoin.
The acquisition took place between June 8 and June 14, lifting Strategy’s total Bitcoin holdings to 846,842 BTC. During the same period, the company raised 209 million dollars by selling about 1,73 million MSTR shares through its at-the-market program.
Strategy also increased its USD Reserve by 100 million dollars to 1,1 billion dollars. The move shows that the company continues to fund both its Bitcoin accumulation strategy and its financial obligations through equity issuance, without selling its Bitcoin holdings or using its cash cushion.
