Joe Biden faced pressure to withdraw from the presidential race after his program with Trump on CNN, but announced that he would continue the race. Following this statement, the Chamber of Progress, known for its lobbying activities in the technology sector, sent a letter to Biden about cryptocurrencies. Kyle Bligen, one of the directors of the organization, stated that more than 18 million voters in the US hold cryptocurrencies, emphasizing that Generation Z and millennials support the use of digital assets. Bligen stated that young voters are concerned about the uncertainties in crypto regulations and that Biden can bring solutions to these problems.
The letter also stated that the SEC's recent policies have caused serious damage to the cryptocurrency industry. As it is known, Donald Trump regularly meets with the leaders of the cryptocurrency industry and states in his election speeches that he fully supports cryptocurrency ownership and transactions. In contrast, Joe Biden has so far preferred to remain silent on these issues.
