Blockchain | What is an ICO?

The Initial Coin Offering (ICO) is defined as a method for a company to raise the necessary funding to create a new cryptocurrency, token, application, project, or service to be introduced to the market. With an ICO, the company can secure the funding it needs to bring its new projects to life. Additionally investors who invest in the process can have access to the token to be released before it hits the market in exchange for their investment.
