Ark Invest CEO Cathie Wood announced that she will vote for Donald Trump in the US presidential election. Speaking at a conference in Las Vegas, Wood stated that she will support Trump, the former US President and the likely candidate of the Republicans in the elections to be held in November. Emphasizing that the most important reason for this decision is Trump's supportive attitude towards cryptocurrencies, Wood said, "I will vote for the person who will do the best for our economy. I am a voter when it comes to the economy. And that's basically Trump," he said.
Donald Trump stood out as one of the first names to support cryptocurrencies in the presidential race. Seen as the favorite presidential candidate, Trump's statements that he would bring more freedom to cryptocurrencies attracted the attention of many in the industry. Recently, US cryptocurrency company founders Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss also announced that they donated to Trump's campaign.
