HBO's highly anticipated documentary claimed that the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto could be Canadian Bitcoin developer Peter Todd. The documentary claimed that Todd used both his own account (under a different name) and Satoshi's account on the “bitcointalk” forum in 2010, and even once mistakenly sent a message that was supposed to be written by Satoshi from his other account. Todd has flatly denied these allegations.
