The United States Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has filed a lawsuit against Binance and Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ). In the lawsuit filed in the District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, Binance and CZ are accused of violating trading and derivatives rules. Binance's top management is accused of willful evasion of U.S. laws, including assisting and instructing customers located in the U.S. to evade restrictions.
