The Solana Foundation announced that it has integrated artificial intelligence (AI) into the blockchain using the ChatGPT plugin. The plugin, introduced by Solana Labs at the end of April, will allow users to search the Solana blockchain using OpenAI's conversational chatbot technology.
In addition to allowing users to check wallet balances, transfer Solana-specific tokens and purchase NFTs, the ChatGPT plugin will also enable developers to build AI-powered applications on the Solana network.
Tal Tchwella, Product Manager at Solana Labs, said that the ChatGPT integration gives Solana users and developers a new way to ask questions to the AI service and "makes the experience simpler."
